Ask me what’s the best thing about Sagada and I will tell you it’s not the natural wonders nor its people but the food! Don’t get me wrong here. Sagada has the friendliest locals and offers one too many breathtaking sceneries our eyes could feast on pretty endlessly. However, there is nothing more extraordinary about feasting literally, especially in a place where the freshest ingredients are grown. There are places out there that have the most amazing spots to drool for but have little to offer in the culinary scene. Then there’s Sagada which is simply the best of both worlds. Out of the many restaurants in this town which has nothing but great food on their menus, the battle all boils down to authenticity, uniqueness and flavor. So allow me to tell you about 5 Restaurants In Sagada that I really love and which I think you will certainly love as well.

1. Rock Inn Cafe

Home to a vast orange orchard, Rock Inn Cafe never fails to incorporate their locally grown oranges in their menu. May it be on their side or the main dishes, the touch of orange is something I found cute and unique only to them. To top it off, the beautiful ambience of the cafe which emanates antiquity and classic elegance made it more pleasing to the eye.

2. Yoghurt House

The Yoghurt House as its name suggests is home to a wide variety of great tasting yogurt mixes. They’re arguably one of the best in town and no doubt famous amongst those who frequent Sagada. But this laidback restaurant with a chill vibe is not just about delicious yogurts. Its menu have some of the most sumptuous choices which will not only satiate your hunger but satisfy your flavor-thirsty palette.

3. Salt & Pepper

Salt & Pepper is one of the well-known restaurants in Sagada. And although it received mixed reviews from visitors throughout the years with some stating dismay about lousy service and being overpriced, there is still something to love about them in my opinion. I personally appreciate their large servings and their use of the freshest ingredients. I would say breakfast is the best time to visit and I would strongly reco you try their omelet.

4. Sagada Brew

I’ve recently known of Sagada Brew through photos of a friend who got nothing but decadent cakes on his Instagram all taken from this wonderful restaurant. But unlike what its name suggest, Sagada Brew is not just all about cakes, pastries and coffee. Their menu, consists of a wide variety of beef, pork and chicken dishes are few of the best I have ever tasted during my recent visit. Among this list, Sagada Brew outclasses the others when in comes to flavor and value for money. Definitely a must try I would say.

5. Log Cabin

I discovered Log Cabin during my first visit in Sagada and boy did it just blow my mind! I didn’t know about it and it never was on my list of restaurants I would love to try during my brief visit but thank goodness for late-night cravings I stumbled upon this restaurant. All I have of Log Cabin are good words, great memories, delicious food and the desire of going back. I think they have the most delicious dishes to offer over the rest of Sagada. They’re priced more expensively but they serve their dishes in big portions so no qualms on that whatsoever. So this I would say is highly recommended and a must when you visit.

There you have it lovelies. I know people tend to think of the sea of clouds half the time when we speak of Sagada but this jewel up in the Cordilleras is home to culinary adventures too. Comment below if I am missing out and you know a restaurant/s on par or even better than those on this list. Should you have questions, suggestions and violent reactions, let me know on the comments. Show me some love and share this post to your friends. Until next time. Ciao!
